| Margaret Ann Cummings MCLEAN was born inElgin in 1861. Her mother was Annie Cummings, her father was John McLean. She came to Australia and married John McLean STEVENSON in Brisbane in 1881. The combination of the Given Names is unusual. So much so, that a ready of this this message might recognise the name and get in touch with me. John Stevenson was an irishman from Castledawson. He died in 1887 in Brisbane Queensland Au. Maybe some of the rellies have got acces to the Internet and is able to reply. Good luck with the porthole, this site. I'll visit again. |

| i have lived in Elgin all my life and it is an interesting and historical town. I find in and around Elgin there are many beautiful cycle runs and country side walks. There isalso an excellent church where i am an elder and i enjoy myself thoroughly by attending it |
